Were you happy with surrogate you were matched with?

“Yes, Katelyn was incredible – kind, caring, smart and has a great sense of humor! During our journey she was responsible, communicative, compassionate, and went above and beyond to ensure our baby received the best care.”
Did you find the agency and staff helpful, attentive, and caring?
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
“While YFA did not match us (we used Family Match Consulting), once we were officially part of the agency we felt very cared for. This is primarily due to our OUTSTANDING Case Manager, Kelly Nicholson. Kelly was meticulous in coordinating the many logistics involved in our journey. She was always one step ahead and never missed a beat. Kelly always made herself available to talk and checked in with us regularly, making us feel incredibly supported. When we had hiccups with insurance or medical appointments, Kelly always ironed things out. More so, Kelly acted as a source of emotional support during some especially anxious points in our journey. She was available morning or night to listen during our most vulnerable moments, always assuring us everything would be ok. We feel so grateful that Kelly was assigned as our Case Manager – there truly is no one better to do the job!”
Did you feel you were given expert guidance throughout the process?
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
“YFA introduced us to IFI to help with insurance-related issues, and they were very knowledgeable and helpful.”
Was communication transparent, open and effective?
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
“Yes to all the above. Kelly was absolutely fantastic in all communication and coordination. She is both timely, clear, and thoughtful in her communication. She is also meticulous in details – and proactive in scheduling travel, appointments, etc.!”
Do you feel the agency was able to problem-solve and resolve issues well?
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
“The only area that could have been more accurate was the expectations around insurance and medical costs, as well as lost wages. These estimates were significantly underestimated. For insurance, our costs were over $30,000 more of the high end of what was quoted to us due to needing to use a Lloyd’s plan because ACA wouldn’t cover our surrogate’s location. Lost wages also became a much more significant line item for us. Going forward, mapping these two area out more thoroughly would be helpful. Especially as insurance is less available, making cash pay the choice for IPs.”
