“Majority of the time I felt like my surrogate was committed for all the right reasons, and at a few instances I did question her intentions. The communication was sub par, but I was able to suffice off what she was willing to tell me for a large portion of the pregnancy. All I cared about was the health of her and the baby. I did keep in mind she was a SAHM to 3 young boys and a puppy. I think she prioritized the baby as much as her busy life could allow.”

“I do think I mattered. Lynden went above and beyond for us and always made time for mark & I by checking in on us in a calm, understanding, and respectful approach. Do you feel the agency was able to problem-solve and resolve issues well?

“I think we all did the best we could given the scenario! It was tough to navigate at the end but we all made it. After the first conflict I wasn’t happy about the communication being cut off from my surrogate, I felt like everything was my fault somehow and the surrogate could do no wrong … but honestly I put my own feelings aside from the situation and just wanted to focus on the baby and the health of the surrogate. In the end, it’s water under the bridge. I still would recommend YFA to a friend !!! And I recently did !!!”
